I bring the breath and movement of yoga and meditation into therapy to relieve clients suffering. We work together to integrate the body, heart, mind, and spirit to reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, manage life transitions, and heal from grief and loss.
The body and nervous system hold memories, fear, and stress. You can develop skills to relax or invigorate the body and regulate your nervous system by learning to notice physical sensations.
Learning to identify, feel and express a full range of emotions allows us to communicate our feelings, needs, and desires to another person. Then you can foster healthy, loving relationships and live with an open heart.
Blending features of cognitive therapy with mindfulness techniques, I can teach you to accept thoughts and feelings without judgment. You can become more self-aware and understand where your beliefs, choices, and feelings came from, helping you to change patterns or habits that are no longer useful.
The unconscious manifests not only in nighttime dreams but also in behaviors and physical symptoms. By working with the unconscious process through art, movement, meditation, and dreams, you can discover a path to healing the past and being more conscious in the present.
