Psychedelic Integration Coaching

Psychedelic Integration Coaching takes place after a psychedelic experience. It is an ongoing process of exploring what occurred during or surrounding the journey and weaving it into your life in ways that are meaningful and beneficial.

We may use inquiry, somatic practices, meditation, art, dreamwork, and ritual in nature to deepen understanding, continue the healing process, and discover meaning—allowing what emerged to take root in the body, in relationships, and in daily life.

Not all psychedelic experiences feel healing or expansive. Some can be frightening, overwhelming, disorienting, or traumatic. People may also experience harm, boundary violations, or breaches of trust with a guide, facilitator, or within a psychedelic community.

I offer a compassionate and nonjudgmental space to begin making sense of these experiences and their impact. There is no expectation that a difficult or harmful experience needs to be reframed as positive or spiritually meaningful. The work can begin simply with what happened, how it affected you, and what you need now.

Integration coaching is focused specifically on deepening your understanding of the psychedelic experience and integrating what arose during the journey. My role is to offer a steady, grounded presence as the experience is explored, understood, and integrated.

While old memories, past experiences, or trauma may arise, we do not delve deeply into or treat these issues as we might in psychotherapy. If material emerges that would be better supported through psychotherapy or other mental-health care, we will recognize that distinction together.

I completed the Certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Research through the Center for Psychedelic Therapies and Research (CPTR) at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS).

I taught psychedelic integration within the CIIS CPTR certificate program for three semesters. I also teach and write about psychedelic integration and the process of bringing extraordinary experiences into meaningful relationship with everyday life.

In 2022, I completed 100 hours of training in MDMA-Assisted Therapy (Parts A–D) through the MAPS Training Program.

My understanding of psychedelic experiences has also been shaped by time spent learning with healers of the Peruvian Amazon from The Temple of the Way of Light, including experiences with traditional plant diets and vegetalismo within the Shipibo-Konibo tradition. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for the ways psychedelic and plant-medicine experiences can be understood within spiritual, communal, and relational contexts—not only through a Western psychological lens.
