A Q’ero course through the Pakarina Wisdom School.

At a time when so many of us are awakening to the stark realities we face as a collective, a door is opening to a world of personal and community integrity to support sustained harmonious relationship with the larger web of life. The Q’ero have long practiced the kinds of collaborative ancestral wisdom we can access to reinvigorate right relation in the personal, family, community and broader spheres of interconnection. This six-month online cultural immersion will include elements of the Inca mesa taught in previous years, alongside the principles of sacred reciprocity to bring a more precise balance into our lives.

Woven throughout the course Mary guides integration practices that help bring these teachings into everyday life.

January 2026 · Six-month online course

A Q’ero course through the Pakarina Wisdom School.

Rooted in the Q’ero tradition of the Andes, this course is carried through the lineage of Don Agustín Machacca Flórez and his grandmother, Doña Manuela Mendoza, a Ñusta healer. The Ñustas are feminine spirit beings connected with the Apus, the waters, Pachamama, and the Pleiades (Qotokuna). Participants explore the lineage and cosmology of the Ñustas, work with the Ñusta Misha, and cultivate the feminine and masculine Ñusta energies in support of balance, creativity, intuition, and healing. At its heart, the Ñusta Misha is an invitation to deepen our relationship with Pachamama, the sacred feminine, and the interconnectedness of all life.

Co-led by Julie D. Megler, NP-BC, and Mary McDermott, LMFT. Mary and Julie provide a working understanding of Integration that helps participants understand more deeply their own experiences of Integration. They walk participants through a therapeutic model of Integration and teach principles and practices that follow the arc of evolution and build on each other through the body, heart, mind, spirit, community, and earth.
