About

For nearly three decades, my work has explored what helps us heal, grow, and become more fully ourselves.

My path began in psychology and community mental health, where I worked for fifteen years with an emphasis on healing trauma. It has since expanded through the study of trauma and the body, meditation and contemplative practice, psychedelic integration, and spiritual and wisdom traditions.

Through these different paths, I have come to understand body, heart, mind, and spirit as interconnected ways of experiencing and knowing. This understanding is at the heart of how I accompany others.

Today, my work takes several distinct forms—psychotherapy, psychedelic integration coaching, spiritual mentorship, and ritual and ceremony—each grounded in presence, curiosity, compassion, and respect for each person’s unfolding path.

I continue to be a student myself, shaped by the teachers, traditions, communities, and people I have been honored to learn from.

I completed my graduate training in 1997 and have been a licensed psychotherapist since 2004. My professional education has continued throughout my career, with ongoing study in trauma, somatic and relational approaches, grief and loss, substance use, contemplative practice, and psycho-spiritual development.

I live and work in Oakland, California, on the traditional land of the Ohlone people. Each year I pay the Shuumi Land Tax to acknowledge this history and support the Ohlone community. In the spirit of ayni, sacred reciprocity, I also give annually, directly to a Q’ero village in Peru, whose teachings have so deeply shaped my path.
