I graduated from San Francisco State in 1997 with a master's degree in Counseling Psychology, and actively engage in work and ongoing training as a therapist ever since. I deeply love the process of growing and evolving as a human and feel honored to have the privilege of guiding so many on their journeys of transformation and healing.
My therapeutic work is influenced by Vajrayana meditation, spiritual practice, and psycho-spiritual Integration, which I actively study with my teacher Jennifer Welwood MA, MFT.
I have extensive experience in non-profit organizations that helped young people heal from trauma—specializing in substance abuse treatment and the healing and prevention of domestic violence, often using public art, theater, and spoken word to empower young voices.
I’m certified as a psychedelic-assisted therapist through the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) and the Center for Psychedelic Therapy and Research (CPTR). I have since been a mentor and teacher in the program. I’m also certified in using MDMA in psychedelic therapy through MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelic Studies).
Marriage and Family Therapist MFT#41257 & Professional Clinical Counselor LPCC#914 with a graduate degree in Counseling Psychology from San Francisco State University (1997).
I live and work in Oakland, CA, on traditional Ohlone land. Annually I pay the Shuumi Land Tax to acknowledge this history and the Ohlone community
